These will be held by Tahoe Research, a newly formed company within the IPValue Management Group, and IPValue will license the Tahoe portfolio to its established and growing network of licensees and will continue to acquire and license portfolios from other world leading enterprises.
Last quarter Intel saw its first major fall in turnover as the result of restructuring and slowing markets.

IPValue already has semiconductor patent portfolios from Cypress Semiconductor (now part of Infineon), memory firm Elpida, UMC and Seiko Epson.
