The orders have come in since February 2019 when the company launched its ConnectIC flex circuits for RFID, the PR1101 and PR1102, for us in closed high frequency smart packaging. The circuits are aimed at food and beverage packaging, personal and home care, and pharmaceutical and healthcare goods. They also support the introduction of digital interactivity into physical toys and games. They are suitable for such applications as hierarchical inventory management, item identification and tracking, supply chain assurance and brand authentication.

The orders have come from customers in Europe, North America and Asia, the company said.

The RFID market was worth $11 billion, according to IDTechEx.
