Infineon, Picovoice team on voice AI
The collaboration uses Infineon’s PSoC 6 microcontrollers (MCUs) to implement wake-up phrases and work out what users are asking at the edge of the Internet of Things (IoT) to keep power consumption low.
The Picovoice platform creates an accurate and private voice interface that is now easily used with existing Infineon PSoC 6 solutions including seamless pairing with AIROC WiFi, low power CapSense touch interface and cloud connectivity. The platform also includes Infineon’s XENSIV MEMS microphones with high SNR, wide dynamic range, low distortions and high acoustic overload point to improve the quality of the captured voice data.

这笔交易意味着开发人员现在可以使用PSoC 6 Pioneer Development Kit and the IoT Sense Expansion Shield with an option to sign-up for a free Picovoice trial account. Additionally, they can run code examples using Infineon’s ModusToolbox to bring smart home and wearable applications to market.
