2.5V rad hard DAC for satellite designs
Stmicroelectronics已推出了一个辐射硬化的数字到Analog转换器(DAC),该转换器(DAC)可用于更现代的低功率卫星设计至2.5V。
The 12bitRHRDAC121successive-approximation register (SAR) rad hard DAC consumes 0.6mW at its maximum speed of 1Msample/s in next-generation satellites looking to move away from 5V and 3.3V power rails to help reduce size, weight, and power (SWaP).
The 130nm CMOS device was developed with the CNES (Centre National d’Etudes Spatiales), the French Space Agency and is typically used in circuits for telemetry, housekeeping, and precision sensor-gain adjustment and has an SPI-compatible serial output, internal voltage reference, and automatic power-on-reset to zero-volt output. These ensure high precision with minimal external components, saving circuit complexity and board area.
The RHRDAC121 is single-event latch-up (SEL) -free up to 125MeV.cm²/mg to maintain stable performance in harsh conditions up to 100krad(Si) total ionizing dose (TID). It is characterized for single-event transient (SET) and single-event upset (SEU) and ready for immediate deployment with no further up-screening required.
The RHRDAC121 is QML-V qualified and comes in a hermetic ceramic package with gold or solder-dipped leads. It is also available as bare die.
The price for RH-DAC121K1 engineering model (EM) is $950.00, for orders of 10 units. The RHRDAC121K01V flight model (FM) is $2450.00.
